Here are the kids. It started "wet" snowing as soon as we arrived. We hurriedly took pictures.
Here are the couples: Mike and Mandy, Crystal and Steve, Will and I. It was a little chilly!
Mandy, toting kids to the patch.
Keira, Morgan and Ali Sanchez, they have their pumpkins, now get us inside!
My beautiful girls!
We came back to the Sanchez home to have some soup and bread and to also carve our pumpkins. First step ,as Steve is demonstrating, was to bring the pumpkins in with the snow on them!
Here is Will cutting the top off of Morgan's pumpkin. We let daddy do this step because mommy has a special ability to wreck every pumpkin she tries to take the top off of.
Here is Mike showing his wife and his child that he can handle a big knife! :D Just kidding.
Taylor had one of the BIGGEST pumpkins! Here he is gutting it out! Doesn't he look a little grossed out?
Here is Crystal, my dearest friend, helping her daughter gut out her pumpkin. I think this might've been the kids' favorite part.
Morgan, however, did not know if daddy was telling the truth or not when he told her to reach her hand in and take the innerds of the pumpkin out. She finally realized this was the right way to do it and came on board!
Keira was having a ball!
I can gut with the rest of them! Oh yeah!
Steve and his son had a blast carving a giant spider out of their enormous pumpkin!
Morgan and Keira both did simple pumpkin faces and had a blast doing it!
Lo and behold, the finished products.
In the dark even! Don't they look amazing!?
